My very first color work in a looong while, and my very first try at a monster high character. Despite how much time this took, I had fun drawing, inking, coloring, and creating a bio for her. I feel so out of practice, though, but this allowed me to get my toes wet in art again.

Her name is Sealena Selkys, and she is a young northern snow Selky, so she looks much like a baby harp seal. This is not her main outfit; that will come later. This outfit is for her entry into The Next Top Monster (hopefully, she makes it in).

What type of personality do you have?- A caring and compassionate one toward other ghouls, and also to living creatures we share our world with.
Why do you want to be The Next Top Monster?- I thought it would be much fun to try out. ^^

Daughter of Snow Selkie
Age: 14

Pet: Harpo, my baby harp seal. He is my current adopted orphan seal. I like to raise them for a time, then release them back into the wild once they've fully grown. There's no greater joy than raising young ones to be able to survive on their own.
Killer Style: Even though I have soft snowy fur all over, I love wearing a little fur in my accessories... faux fur, that is. I abhor the mass slaughter of baby harp seals for fur, or any living creature for that matter, making animal rights one of my passions.
Freaky Flaw: Keeping my snowy white fur nice and clean. It can get dirty and dull very quickly here where there is no snow, mostly dust and dirt, making my overall appearance look embarrassingly unkempt at times. This means more bathroom breaks during the day, which can be pretty inconvenient. Mom always emphasized good grooming habits, which are always a must to keep my seal fur looking it's beastly best.
Favorite Colors: White and Soft Grey. Sometimes a nice icy blue or bright pink for a splash of color.
Favorite Food: Shrimp Cocktail, and recently Sushi. Though, really, any seafood is a delight for me!
Pet Peeve: The biggest one is the fur industry and it's cruel ways. Who knew humans could be so... inhuman. Second would be violence. I am a pacifist and try to solve conflicts first and foremost by negotiation.
Favorite Activity: Besides advocating animal rights, I love a good bath or swim in icy waters. It's truly invigore-ating!
Favorite School Subject: Physical Deaducation. I love swim class, and making the swim team is my high school dream goal.
Least Favorite School Subject: Home Ick. Why cook anything? I prefer my food fresh and straight from the source.
